Hade förväntat mig bättre tryck med tanke på dess storlek. Hade en Topsflo TD5 innan som rymdes i handen och den levererade samma tryck som denna. Men fördelen med RipTide är enkelheten att rengöra pumphuset.

Magnet drive pump, designed specifically for homebrewing. This is basically the same excellent pump as RipTide™ pump but fitted with sanitary TC 1.5". Updated version from 2024: vent barb on air vent and eliminated thrust washer on the impeller axle.
The RipTide™ stainless steel head is designed with a clamp for 3" TC (Tri-Clamp), which makes disassembling and cleaning easy. The pump head rotates 360 degrees to fit in virtually any installation. Other well-designed details are the integral linear flow valve for superior flow control, an intuitive air vent valve with barb for mess free venting of the pump head, a enclosed and splash proof motor, and a stable base with rubber feet.
Blichmann Engineering and a team from March Manufacturing have together created the RipTide™. The pump is CE certified and comes with 3 m of electrical cord with EU-plug.
Pumping of boiling liquid can cause cavitation if the flow isn't restricted, therefore we recommend waiting for the wort to cool off somewhat before pumping.
