Description

Article no.: 649750GRF

As an alternative to fruit purees, concentrates, and essences - Abstrax SkyFarm has been built from the ground up using isolated terpenes. Think of them like little building blocks. We extract, purify, and then rebuild them into the brightest flavor expression possible. Abstrax SkyFarm delivers fruit-forward flavours, made using botanically derived terpene isolates and aromas.

Step into the unknown with sky high levels of astonishingly bright Grapefruit. This juicy, spine-tingling citrus fruit will infuse your beverages with a flavor so tart your lips can’t help but slide into a smile.

The Abstrax series is best suited for late, cold side additions in beer and soft drinks. Water soluble and fully flowable.

Start at 0.05 ml/l with a range of up to 0.3 ml/l
Add SkyFarm as late in the process as possible
While this disperses quickly, ensure homogenisation by recirculating/rousing

• Ease of use compared with purée
• Shelf-life improvement
• No refermentation
• Consistency
• No seasonal variability

Flavor characteristics: Citrus, Tart, Fruity
Dominant Terpenes: d-Limonene, beta-Caryophyllene, Linalool

Terpenes are flavour compounds found in many plants. They include geraniol, linalool and myrcene, among many others. Abstrax isolates terpenes from essential oils. Using 3D analysis, terpenes can be combined to consistently match flavour and aroma profiles.
