Liquid hop extract of specific hop varieties for use in the whirlpool.
YCH 702 is a new innovation from Yakima Chief Hops to maximize yield and flavor at the end of the boil. Through a unique process, the alpha and beta acids and the hop oils are extracted from the hop pellet, which creates a liquid extract completely without vegetable components.
The extract corresponds to hop pellets in a ratio of 1:10, which results in both a lower cost and loss of liquid in the kettle. The aroma is practicaly the same as the hop variety the extract comes from. As the extract consists of between 35 - 50% alpha acid, it makes a significant contribution to the bitterness
Recommended dosage is 0.2-0.5 g per liter
