Bramling Cross whole hops 2025, 5 kg

A Brittish variety with notes of citrus and blackcurrant that really comes to life with big, late hop additions. Is said to be a bit excentric in it's taste but provides a plesant bitterness.

Golden Ale, Strong Ale, Stout, Porter

Brimling Cross was bred way back in 1927 but not released until 1951 by the Wye College. It's a cross between Golding and a Canadian wild hop variety.

Aroma: Citrus, blackcurrant, blackberries, pear, spice

Origin: England

Typical values:
Alpha acid (correct alpha value is printed on the package): 5 - 8 %
Cohumulone: 30 - 35 %
Total oils: 0,7 - 1,2 ml / 100 g
Storage stability (alpha acids): Good, 60 - 70 % alpha acids remaining after 6 months at 20ºC
